    The Earth is changing. The global south is being punished for the sins of the global north, and we’ve crossed almost every red line that scientists have drawn.

    But won’t someone please think of the economy???

      Well Christophe Cassou, co-editor of the IPCC report, mentioned insurrance won’t be able to reimburse at 2°, that’s in 2040. People will lose their home and will have to move to find somewhere else to live. That’s not only about the economy.

    I feel like at this point most insurances (home, car, health, etc.) should transition from being for-profit services to being run as public utilities with proper regulations. It’s long overdue imo.

    Personally, my homeowners insurance has doubled since DeSantis took office. He’d be a disaster for the USA.
