Even local hosting without exposing to internet will for typical user mean configuring routers because each wifi router creates NAT-ed subnet by default. Installation might be trivial but accessing your basement server from living room might not be.

This is only possible because your phone constatly transmits your location and network data. You can also call it surveilance because its 24/7 logging and processing of your location data.
