Every time someone nearly changes lanes into me, or slams their brakes, or whatever. I like operating a motor vehicle. I hate other drivers.

Doesn’t even take that long. My parent passed away and left boxes of pictures from 50 to 75 years ago and no one recognizes. Why did they have these pictures and boxes of them? No notes. Nothing.
Ehhh I guess it could be argued. It’s kinda fuzzy on that front. I’d say this is more about police faking evidence using Ai text generator.
But you’re right that the context is in regards to USA political.
Oooh a couple I didn’t have, thanks.
Why is this down voted? (-7 at this moment.) it’s a valid question. Does it break a rule I’m not aware of?
Huh? No. I was gonna make the suicide joke. They got here first so I won’t make the same joke.
Aw, dang. This was gonna be my answer, too.
In my experience, there’s an inertia to staying still. You either need a pull from the destination or a push from the source. I didn’t care where we ended up but I couldn’t live where we were. The state government was persecuting one of my kids and failing on maintaining civil services. The destination wasn’t great but it was better than the source and has family nearby. Overall, I don’t regret moving, but I’m not happy. I went from a terrible situation to a not as bad one. Note - I didn’t say this is good.
I don’t think Mitch Hedberg was officially diagnosed but there was something going on there.
My main tactic to avoid answering a question is deflection. Either give an absurd answer (most people don’t follow up) or just enough to placate them and move on.
“what did you do this weekend?”
Absurd - “oh, nothing much, just climbed mount everest in a clown suit.”
Just enough - “spent some time in the garden”. (note this must be true bc there may be followups, but it’s boring enough to be dropped)
you can clean them daily, they get black spots
Daily?! I clean mine weekly and I put coffee and milk in them. I drink my coffee by lunch and rinse them out 3x. I turn them upside down and air dry the 2nd half of the day. They’re dried by end of day. Do that 5x a week. Wash on the weekends.
Nope, feels too much like wish fulfillment.
Would you change your whole personality just because society dictates you must?
Yes. We do what we must to survive. It’s masking. I am many people. I am one person at work, I play the game of being social. I am another at home with family, I play the game of house member. I am another person with friends, I play the game of a buddy.
You decide if you want to follow the rules and earn their prizes or find another system to exist in. It’s far easier said than done. I chose to follow the rules. You might not.
Very, very rarely. One time I did, though, was because I didn’t study the topic enough. I asked an insider, a current employee, friend-of-a-friend, for advice. They said to not focus on it and only on my experience. After I did t get any info back from HR, I asked and promised I’d only reply with “thank you”. They said I bombed the interview because I didn’t cover the topic enough. My insider was either wrong or misled me.
One other time they actually called me back later and emphasized I was missing the key point. I had 90% of what they wanted but the 10% included a deal breaker.
Mind you, this is HUNDREDS of applications.
I haven’t liked his latest album. His previous stuff is top notch tho.
Game - Factorio. Literally broke my 5 year gaming fast. I’ve spent over 1000 hours in it.
Film - Boondock Saints. Not a fan of the gore in it, but damn is the rest of it amazing. Willem Dafoe, excellent as usual.
Book - I honestly don’t know if I’ve read any indy books. I don’t know the production status of books.
I’ll second Swiss Army Man. Very weird, very enjoyable.
Not my parents. Both of them are negative examples. One is a garbage fire. The other tried, and I love them for that, but didn’t do great.
MacGyver. Geordi LaForge. I’ve wanted to be an engineer since I was tiny. I love taking things apart and building things. Additionally, they’re both very caring, supportive characters who take care of others.
Op kinda steered the conversation by giving their example as a fictional character.
You can stop being friends with people at any time for any reason. You liked them then, you can ask them if anything changed and that you liked them previously but not a fan now. Then if they don’t want to act like that anymore you leave the relationship. It sucks but she’s not going to be that person anymore, it seems like.
