Russia’s population is approximately three and a half times the size of Ukraine’s and Putin certainly has no qualms about sending young men into the meat grinder.

There it is! She just couldn’t help herself, huh. So Putin is more than happy to send his people to slaughter but Zelenskyy somehow isn’t? Be fucking for real now.

They can just never hide their blatant xenophobia and Russophobia, it’s actually so unsettling how normalized it is. (I will never forget the Russian pavilion being banned at a culture fair in Canada)

did I miss the part where Ukraine attacked a sovereign nation? isn’t there a difference between sending young men to defend a nation vs sending them to attack a sovereign nation?

Listen up, lame.ee lib… Where were you when Ukraine was shelling their own citizens in the Donbass area? Where were you, you specifically, when the US orchestrated a far-right coup? When they sent literal CIA-trained neo-Nazi death squads to quell those who opposed the coup?

History didn’t start on 24 Feb 2022. But for you libs it apparently did. And no, Ukrainians are not “fighting to defend the nation”, they’re being used as cannon fodder by the US to enrich the MIC and weaken Russia.

I was in the U.S. minding my own business like any other person from any other country should. what about you? were you taking it to the streets? protesting annexation of Crimea? or are you just some keyboard tough guy communist sympathizer with no actual historical context for why Russia would invade the Ukraine?

so now they are …not fighting to defend their invaded country, but they are fighting to weaken the country that is currently invading them? do you hear the logic as it spews out of your mouth like a brown ooze? it’s shit. you’re talking shit.

I AM from Ukraine, you liberal nimrod. And not from the Eastern part, not even close. I got news for you - Ukraine is a fascist state. It’s now a concentration camp where people have been getting kidnapped off the streets for the last 18 months at least.

I’m living through this fucking hell. And I’m telling you, right here and now - you have no clue what you are talking about. Before 2022 most of you could not even point to Ukraine on a map, and now you’re pretending to know more about this conflict than actual people living there, just like a typical lib with your typical brain rot.

And speaking of the actual people… I’m going to voice the opinion of the overwhelming majority in Ukraine, especially the youth: we do NOT want to fight. We want to capitulate and get this bullshit over with. We don’t want your stupid “aid” (if you can call it that), your stupid taxpayer money, your stupid “advisers”, we don’t want your fucking weapons. We want your imperialist boot out of Ukraine.

Before picking a side to defend, maybe try learning actual history of what lead to what. I’m tired of seeing clueless wandering lame.ee libs defending this shit.

God damn, Thank you for putting that boneheaded lib in this place.

Western libs are all confidence and no intelligence. We are the most propagandized people on the planet, and most people are so uncomfortable with the word “propaganda” that they refuse to even acknowledge its existence.

At the beginning of this conflict, I was a western ib all the same and though I didn’t speak about it online, I supported Ukraine. It took a lot of keeping my mouth shut and listening, and learning history, and just not being so over confident, to finally come to the understanding that the West is causing this problem, not trying to solve it.

              Lame.ee is the fucking worst.

Thank you for being willing to speak out and being the voice of reason.

Similar thing. Being apolitical played a bad joke on me. Though even then I did not have hatred towards the Russian people, despite being absolutely carpet-bombed with propaganda. But then I started to see inconsistencies and - surprise! - contradictions. And then the big one dropped - in mid-2022 I realized it was the West who sabotaged the peace talks. I started digging. All in all, these material conditions radicalized me into becoming a communist.

We are the most propagandized people on the planet

That’s no coincidence and you know it. In more ways than one the empire depends on the bubble. Hate your enemies but respect them - the US is unmatched when it comes to lies, projection and propaganda - in general. It’s great that you punched through all of it - it strengthens my revolutionary optimism even more. Keep your head up, comrade!

Sovereignty is when you are couped by the US and Nazis. The more you are a pawn of the US and the more Nazis you have the more sovereign you are.

Yup. A hallmark of a sovereign nation is when the state secretary of an entirely different country visits you from time to time and tells you to snatch people off the streets harder. Not to mention - certain prime ministers with lame haircuts tanking peace talks and forcing you to fight.

Maybe not the best example to give of sovereignty to name a country that has been under US military occupation since WW2, with 35 years of Japanese military occupation before that.

A country considered so sovereign that when they told the US to leave, the US killed over 3 million Koreans (50%-70% of which were civilians) to maintain their occupation and US-owned sweatshops. Yep. 100% sovereign.

Did Russia just wake up one day and decide to invade? Did the largest country on Earth for some reason decided it would start a costly war just to grab a little more land?

Why do you think Russia invaded?

I think putins Russia has a well documented cause for a Soviet reunification. invading is the correct term. unwanted military action from a neighboring country to take it over is aggressive no matter how you want to mentally mangle it. it’s not just invading, it is conquering to reform. the nazi propaganda you swallowed is bitter. you can “like” it if you want but you can’t deny it.

Putin is a bourgeois nationalist. He has no desire to bring back the soviet union, or even the ability as Russia is not currently experiencing revolutionary conditions.

it’s not just invading, it is conquering to reform.

The initial war aims were more reserved and the march-April 2022 talks showed that Russia was fine with Ukraine remaining independent (though this may have partially been because the war had turned out to be more costly than imagined). However, “conquering to reform” I suppose is an adequate description of the current war aims.

the nazi propaganda you swallowed is bitter

Most of the Nazis are on the western side of the war, as they have pretty much always been throughout the past 2-4 centuries of western led genocide and slavery against the rest of humanity.

You did miss that part because the media hid it from you. You missed two US-backed coups in Ukraine. You missed Yanukovych choosing to borrow money from Russia instead of the IMF. You missed the Banderites seizing Kiev and turning it onto a warzone. You missed a decade of nazi police brutality. You missed the decade of a Banderite puppet regime oppressing, bombing and cleansing ethnic Russians in Donbas. You missed Crimea, the DPR and LPR asserting their own self-determination and being attacked for it. You missed years of Banderite nazis killing Russian civilians. You missed Banderite attacks on Russian soil. You missed the US/UK/NATO blocking multiple peace deals. You missed NATO flooding the country since 2014 with weapons to wage an anticipated proxy war. You missed capitalism collapsing and needing to expropriate wealth and resources from countries like Russia and China to keep this thing going for a little bit longer.

You missed all this because it’s not in the national interest interest of the ruling class to tell you the truth.

Circumventing sanctions and strengthening ties with the likes of China, Iran and North Korea has allowed him to pivot his economy on to a war footing.

Ah yes, they only did it with the help a country that is about to collapse any moment, a pariah state in the Middle east and the gulag-country where everyone is starving. At the start of the war the liberals were gleefully saying how Russia’s GDP is lower than that of Texas, and yet with the help of three (supposedly poor) countries they were able to out-produce and out-match the might of the combined power of Western rich and thriving economies. I know I shouldn’t let it, but liberal cognitive dissonance really annoys me.

Also gotta love how he pivoted his economy. Putin is running the economy and the war all by himself, just like Xi and Kim, and Stalin before them. Anything they can do to contribute to the scary evil dictator image

  • Ukraine never really had a chance, it’s extremely fucked up that US/NATO forced them to reject all negotiations and fight a tragic and destructive war just so the West could bleed Russia a bit, it’s also fucked up that they fed everyone propaganda that they could’ve ACTUALLY won. Kiev/Kyiv could’ve taken the deal early on and had been neutral and officially never part of NATO (of which the West never had true intentions of having them join regardless) and avoided all of this madness with nothing more but a bloody nose and a bruised ego. But now they’re going to be forced to kowtow to Moscow and PRAY that Putin will go easy on them.
