What the secret to a really good pancake?
Honestly I’m a horrible cook, so I couldn’t tell you! I’m personally a big fan of pancakes with a non-syrup wet/moist topping. These came with a dollop of mascarpone and some lemon curd that just hit the spot!
Looks great! I feel like every time I make pancakes it’s never consistent (because I usually eyeball everything). I guess I should start measuring things hahaha!
Soda water. This is true, believe it or not. Look up recipes for diner-style pancakes and you’ll see soda water as a main ingredient, because it makes the pancakes fluffier.
OoOo! Thanks and will look into this further!
Where do you get those tiny plastic containers? I need some so badly but all I have are some bigger ceramic versions which are a pain to maintain.
Not sure where you would find them in person outside of restaurant supply stores, but if you do a search for 2oz sauce cups, a few places sell them online. (I’m USA based)
Yeah just found a dozen for $6 on amazon, didn’t know what they were called so I had quite the trouble finding them. Thank you !
fuck that looks amazing
